Like total Trust membership, the number of overseas members fluctuates slightly, though CEO Jan McLaren says it's consistently around 15 to 18 per cent of the total. Recently one of our members from Denmark called into the Remuera premises.
And talking of Scandinavia, at last month's classic car meeting at Anderstorp circuit in southern Sweden, Danish and Swedish Members recognised each other and the New Zealand contingent who were there with the McLaren M23 because they were wearing Trust apparel. But if you think that's not too surprising, how about the French members at the classic car meeting in Monaco held before the Grand Prix, who similarly recognised members from Wellington.
